In this stunning location we created a productive garden, complete with a beautiful cedar potting shed, tucked away, just out of sight from the house but maximising the incredible view. Pudding stones, prolific in the area, were used as retaining walls as we terraced the steep bank with steps added to ease the journey.
Further oak raised beds were added to an open area of the lawn while a previously unloved steep walkway became a beautiful journey, complete with textural planting. A split chestnut post and rail fence added a rustic boundary to the field beyond where we planted a mixed orchard of apples, pears, cherries, plums and almonds, under-sown with wildflower seed.
